Cherry Pie Filling for Canning

Another awesome preserving recipe, this Cherry Pie Filling for Canning is ridiculously good. Like ridiculously good. It’s a fairly simple recipe so great for canning newbies and wait until I make it into hand pies or top a cheesecake. Yup, it’s going to be amaze-balls.

Do you have a favorite dessert? Mine is without a doubt something fruity. Pie being my absolute favorite and cobbler or crisp (they’re so similar) being a close second. I also wouldn’t turn down a cheesecake or brownie topped with berries or stewed fruit. Are you getting the point? Fruit desserts are my jam.

And while I’ve always been one to make pies or cobbler using fresh or frozen fruit, I’m now adding homemade fruit pie fillings to my repertoire. And not just because they make great pies- that’s a given. But the filling is also amazing as a topping for pancakes, yogurt or ice cream. It’s fair to say I’m smitten with this Cherry Pie Filling for Canning.
