Description
A mulled cider recipe made in the slow cooker. Perfect for colder weather!
Ingredients
- 750 ml bottle of red wine (I used a cabernet sauvignon)
- 32 oz cranberry-pomegrante juice (or your favorite)
- 1/4 cup local honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- zest of one orange
- 4 cloves
- 1 star anise
- orange slices for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients (minus the orange slices) in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 3-4 hours until hot but not boiling. Serve with orange slices as garnish.
