25 Pie Recipes (that aren’t pumpkin!)
Here’s the thing. I don’t really like pumpkin pie. I know it’s super traditional and you won’t find a Thanksgiving dessert table without it but as much as I try to get myself on board, I just can’t. I find traditional pumpkin pie one dimensional and mushy. It just doesn’t do it for me. Never has, never will. For as traditional as our Thanksgiving meal is- it’s the same every single year- dessert is a free for all. We switch it up each year making whatever sounds good. This year I’m leaning towards making banana cream and lemon meringue (I think) but there are so many amazing pies on this list that I’m sure I’ll change my mind a hundred more times! One things for sure: there won’t be a pumpkin pie on our table.

If you need any help in the pie crust department, go straight HERE. This is my go to recipe and the tutorial is spot on. I will say, however, that I usually forgo rolling the butter in by hand and just do it in the food processor. As long as you are careful not to over process, the crust will turn out flakey and delicious!
What are you serving for Thanksgiving this year? Do you have a favorite?

Thanks for the link love. II can’t decide on which one of these I want to make for Thanksgiving. (Sweet potato pie has already been requested.)
I’m with you not really a fan of pumpkin, but one of my grandmother’s used to make a peach pecan pie that was wonderful!!
This is tortuous for someone who is trying to be carb free for 4 weeks. I won’t get past 4 hours looking at these pies. My favourite thing to make and eat!
