35 Back to School Lunches (just for mom!!)
We spend so much time packing lunches for the kiddos, I thought it’s high time we do the same for ourselves. Sorry kids, but this round up is for the grown ups. 35 Back to School Lunches just for mom (and dad too) if you decide to share.
I pretty psyched to the have kids back in school. I love that our days have more structure and that I have time to work on the blog a little more. And I’m going to lie, I love having some much needed “me” time after a summer of watching over the kids pretty much solo and dealing with what feels like the never-ending remodel. Whether it’s fitting in a yoga class, scheduling a tennis match or simply spending some time in the kitchen (I’m borrowing my moms!), I know that everyone around me is better off when I’m taking care of myself. It’s no secret that when I’m investing in myself, I have a better relationship with my husband and kids. Part of me feeling my best, is making sure I eat well. I don’t know about you but too often I find myself wondering what the heck I’m going to have for lunch. I make sure my kids go to school with a well rounded lunch, so why not do the same for myself. Even though we don’t have a working kitchen right now, I took the time to go to my mom’s house earlier in the week to prep a few salads and protein so I’d have something substantial to fill my belly midday. You can bet that once my kitchen is up and running, every single one of these recipes is getting made!
Enjoy these recipes that are surefire winners! 35 Back-to-School Lunches just for mom!!
