Favorite Salsa Recipes for Taco Tuesday
Happy Taco Tuesday. Or should I say, happy belated Cinco De Mayo? I don’t know about you but I took full advantage yesterday having avocado enchiladas for lunch, plenty of chips and salsa and I might have had a mini shot of tequila before I made dinner.
Tacos would pretty lonesome without salsa, wouldn’t they? It’s like having pasta without parmesan or cookies without milk. It’s just unfathomable. I had lunch yesterday at my favorite local Mexican restaurant and they have the most amazing salsa bar. It literally has 20 + salsas to choose from. You gorge on chips and salsa before your meal comes and then fill your cups to do it again! It got me thinking and I realized that I love tacos so much largely in part because of the toppings. The more salsa the better in my book.
I almost always make my now infamous Quick and Easy Restaurant Style Salsa because it’s just so darn quick and can be made in a blender but sometimes I want to switch things up and am willing to put in a little more work to make a great topping for my tacos or chips. So today it’s all about the tacos famous sidekick and my favorite part of eating tacos: the salsa. Enjoy some of my favorite salsa recipes!
What’s your favorite topping to tacos? Do you have a favorite salsa? I’m always looking for new recipes so please leave a link or share below if you have a favorite!
Have a great day, everyone!

I am a sucker for a really good salsa, and all of these sound fantastic. Which is the one that you brought to dinner at Heidi’s?
These sound great, but my favorite is your Restaurant style one. So quick and tasty.
I love love love Salsa! It’s one of my favorite foods. Thank you so much for including mine! <3
What a great selection of salsa!
Thanks, I love salsa and can’t wait to try them all myself!
This is just the best! I wish we had a restaurant with a salsa bar here in Manhattan! That concept sounds so neat! I love this selection and can’t wait to make a few. My current favorite salsa is very similar to your Texas Caviar (we call it Cowboy Caviar – ha!). Just a few slight changes (avocado, no rotel, a few other things). Anything to get my boyfriend to get vegetables is a plus in my book! Thanks for sharing!! xox
Best,
