The Goods
I’m trudging along with the cleanse and by trudge I mean trudge. It is so much tougher this time around. I really rocked it last year but this time around I’m struggling. All I want is a glass of wine. And a bagel with cream cheese. And a big bowl of rice with butter. And a chocolate bar + a spoonful of peanut butter. And everything else I can’t eat. I keep telling myself it’s just one more day…. one more day…. so humor me today as I pine over the food I can’t have. And all the things that made me either smile or scratch my head this week.
If you live in Utah, don’t take your snow tires off just yet.
Without a doubt, the best thing I ate all week was this.
I’d like to dive in head first.
Do you love Christopher Walkin? You will now.
Made this but with whole fat coconut milk and It’s been my lunch for three days running.
I’ve also been digging this salad + this dressing.
These will be mine in 10 days.
WTF is conscious uncoupling?
I might be a stalker.
What bread, mom?
Favorite word of the week? Constructions. You know, those things that explain how to do something. (Instructions.) Boy, I love kids.
For the locals: It’s gonna get ugly.
And lastly, anyone wanna take bets on a plant date?

Keep strong on your cleanse! You’ll do great 🙂 Your pup has such a sweet face!
You’ll be fine. Be strong. I too love a big bowl of rice with butter and resist. Love your pup.
It strikes me that you can do most anything. Just follow the constructions. Love that!
First off, yes, WTF is ‘conscious uncoupling’? Secondly, forgive me for not knowing, but do you or have you ever been a runner? When I used to run, walking is more my speed nowadays, when it got tough, I’d just focus on the next mailbox and once there, the next mailbox or tree stump or whatever. One little goal at a time. So I’d recommend an approach through your day like that. Find a nearby goal time-wise or daily chore-wise or what-not and get there, then find another. Keep them near and attainable.
Enough of my yapping, great pics and recipes, btw!
So proud of you and your cleanse!! Thank you for the Lebanese salad shout out – I’m so thrilled you loved it!!! xoxo
