Ingredients
- 2 Wildwood Farms Organic Original Veggie Burger Patties
- 1 large red onion
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup vegannaise or organic mayonnaise
- 1 large roasted red bell pepper
- 4 cloves of roasted garlic
- fresh lettuce
- crumbled feta cheese
- quartered cherry tomatoes
- 2 buns of your choice
Instructions
- Heat the grill to medium-high.
- Slice the red onion into 1/4-inch thick slices and brush both sides with the olive oil.
- Grill the onion slices, turning often, about 15 minutes total.
- The burgers need 10 minutes total on the grill: 5 minutes per side just to crisp them up and warm them through.
- While burgers and onions are grilling, make aioli by placing vegannaise or mayonnaise in the base of a food processor with the roasted red pepper and garlic. Pulse to combine throughly.
- When ready to serve, place a patty on each bun and spread generously with the aioli. Top with grilled onions and a sprinkling of crumbled feta and chopped tomato.
