The Goods
After a crazy long week getting back into a routine and digging myself out of the mounds of laundry, this week was much quieter. And filled with a good amount of snow which meant I spent a lot of time on the mountain, snowboarding and hiking. I’ve been cranking out home cooked food all week and cleaning up after Nacho the wonder pup as she seems to have hit her teenage years- she can’t keep her paws (and teeth) off anything. Oh well, she’s delicious none the less and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s what’s on The Goods this week!
So many awesome recipes floating around the web this week. My Pinterest boards are being flooded with the goods!
How yummy (and healthy) does this salad look?
And this combo? #doubleswoon
My favorite flavors, I already bought the ingredients to make this for dinner this weekend.
Because I could eat Mexican every day of the week: THESE! Bonus for all the veggies!
Have you every tried making your own nut milk? I so want to try this.
The best part of blogging (besides the free butter) is the amazing community I get to be a part of. Liz from The Lemon Bowl was in town over the weekend and we got to have lunch and catch up which is always a treat! We share the same relaxed attitude towards blogging and it’s so refreshing to talk shop with someone as laid back as Liz!! If you don’t know her blog, you should as it’s full of healthy and innovative eats!
If you didn’t get a chance to see this video floating around Facebook then you must take the 3 minutes to do so. It’s kinda awesome and without a doubt my favorite thing I’m sharing this week!
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! 30 Quotes that Can Change Your Life!
My in-laws were in town and it was the perfect excuse to make apple pie for scratch. This served as dessert and breakfast for me!
I loved, loved LOVED this book so much (I read it in Hawaii) that I just ordered her other book.
And while browsing Goodreads, I saw this book. It’s going in the reading queue. (Can you tell I like foodie fiction?)
I big fat puffy heart Jimmy Fallon. And Kevin Spacey? Hello, House of Cards. This snippet is kind of my favorite.
What food does your state google the most? I thought this was pretty interesting. And guess what? It’s not Jell-o for Utah. #shocker
Stich Fix meats activewear. Kate Hudson puts her name on new line of athletic wear. Can you say cute AND affordable? #Cha-ching.
Phones at the dinner table? Nothing irks me more. Here’s how do deal.
What do YOU tell your kids before bed? This advice is pretty awesome.
Have an awesome weekend, everybody! Thanks for reading! xo, Kelley

I have to agree on the pie! Thankfully you didn’t show it sliced or I might have had to run out and buy apples. Maybe I will anyway! The cashew milk also sounds amazing! I wonder how it would taste with apple pie?
Thanks for the link to my green enchiladas–let’s make some Mexican food–and eat it together!
