Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups whole milk; 4 oz good white chocolate, chopped; 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract; the tiniest pinch of salt; 3 oz whipped cream or vanilla flavored vodka (optional); whipped cream and/or marshmallows for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine milk and white chocolate and bring to a barely simmer over low heat until chocolate is melted and milk is steaming.
Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and salt.
Divide hot chocolate between two mugs. Add vodka if desired (just do it). And garnish with fresh whipped cream and/or marshmallows.
