Thanksgiving: Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. Hands down.

A day of gathering with the ones I love, stuffing my face with delicious food and giving thanks to the many blessings in my life.

It’s not difficult to be thankful this year. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster the past few years and I can honestly say I’m in a great place.

I’m thankful for early snowfall and living 5 minutes from the ski hill.

I’m so thankful to be in good place this time around. After battling post partum depression, I fought through my fears and had another baby. Hands down, the toughest decision I’ve ever made. However, the best.

I’m thankful for chunky fingers, baby breath, slobbery kisses and toothless smiles.

I’m thankful for a million questions, after bath snuggles, impromptu dance parties and watching Tom and Jerry.

I’m thankful to be married to my best friend. My very best friend.

I’m thankful for my health. That every day I can put on a pair of cleats, snowboard boots or sneakers and break a sweat and restore my sanity.

I’m thankful for this new chapter in my life. Raising kids and supporting a husband with a demanding career, it’s easy to feel inconsequential. Starting this blog has been such a boost.

I’m thankful for best girlfriends that make me laugh, make me cry and send me packages in the middle of the week for no reason at all!

I’m thankful to have parents and brothers that support me and love me. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to have them in my life.

I’m thankful for bacon and butter. (Don’t judge.)

Lastly, Thank you for visiting my blog.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
