Apple Pie Trifle

I’m so about to hook you guys up. This Apple Pie Trifle is Off. The. Hook. It’s seriously one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Bonus that it’s no bake, completely delicious, and so simple that anyone can make it. Thank you Dixie Crystals for your sweet partnership in developing this recipe. I’m guessing most of you have your Thanksgiving menu dialed but in the case you’re here looking for an amazingly simple no-bake Thanksgiving dessert then you are in luck! This Apple Pie Trifle is off the charts amazing. It’s layers of sweetened cream cheese, apples sautéed in a buttery, caramel sauce, and a crunchy homemade graham cracker crumble. I had high expectations for this trifle but was blown away at how well it turned out.

Truth be told this dessert won’t be making an appearance at our Thanksgiving table but that’s only because I ordered four pies from my friend, Emily, pie baker extraordinaire. I know, I know but I wanted easy. I always make homemade pies but just couldn’t wrap my brain around all that work this year. I’m literally going to show up at my parents house with all the dessert and won’t have lifted a finger. I’m pretty psyched about that!

Since we’re doing an early dinner this year, I get to eat twice. I’m all sorts of thrilled about that. Turkey dinner for lunch, turkey sandwich for dinner, and then all the pie ALL DAY LONG. Yes, thank you. While I won’t be making this trifle for Thanksgiving, you totally should. I’ve made it twice in the month and devoured more than my fair share both times! Thanks so much for reading and hope you all have a wonderful weekend! xo, Kelley
