I don’t use BEST when describing a recipe that often. But, believe me, this really is The BEST Strawberry Jam. Period. My family has gone through two jars in just over a week. If that isn’t a testament to how good this stuff is then I don’t know what else to say!

MAKING STRAWBERRY JAM

Making jam is my jam. Ha. Pun totally intended. Seriously. Homemade jam is one of the best things that comes out of my kitchen during the spring and summer. I used to do a ton of canning but now it’s mostly canning tomatoes, quick pickles, and making homemade jam. Lots and lots of jam. I wasn’t kidding when I said above that we eat A LOT of toast. It’s so redonk slathered in this homemade goodness!

WHY THIS STRAWBERRY JAM IS THE BEST

Strawberry jam is, hands down, my favorite to make. I love the simplicity of it and when the strawberries are really, really sweet the jam is a bazillion times better than anything you buy in the grocery store. Im this case, less is more. I personally don’t want to taste anything other than the berries so I keep the ingredient list short. Strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and the teensiest bit of vinegar because it adds just the right amount of depth and makes the strawberries shine!

MAKING JAM IS EASY!

Making jam is pretty darn easy. It does take a little time and attention but overall it’s a piece of cake! You don’t even have to preserve the jam if you’re scared of canning or running short on time. This jam will keep in the fridge for a few months- though it’s not likely it will last that long! This is the perfect recipe to use up an excess of berries.
